It's My World

our community projects

We believe that the Heart of Our Father is to see needs met in the community that we live in.  We seek to reflect that and engage with selfless and sacrificial love in order to be a blessing to our city.

Recent Initiatives

Global Motherhood Community

1 out of every 113 people in the world right now is a refugee. It's our generation's great issue. But we can help. We provided young refugee mothers caught in the thick of it with much needed nappies, formula and hygiene products. We have a trustworthy associate on the ground who personally purchased the products and distributed them to those in greatest need.

Refugee Youth Mentorship

Be-Loved

There are teens and kids in our community who have been removed from their parents and live in state residential care. All young people deserve to feel loved and valued and so we provide them their birthday and Christmas presents and also help to run their end of year Christmas parties.

Driving Force

Many refugee and migrant youth do not have parents who drive and so they are unable to help their kids fulfil their logbook hours.  We help them to gain their drivers licenses so they are able to be a blessing to their families and have greater access to study and employment opportunities.

Refuge Connect

Trying to establish yourself in a new country can be a daunting and significant challenge.  We help to connect refugees and new migrants with accommodation options, services and with resources such as beds and other needs.
